ED 420 Level I General Education Field (Sec): 1 semester hour

This course is designed to provide secondary education students with an early experience in the general education classroom. Students enrolling in this class will receive a placement to work in a local high school or middle school and will be observed in the field by education faculty. During this course students will have the opportunity to demonstrate in the INTASC standards appropriate to Level I of the Teacher Education Program. Students must demonstrate these competencies prior to promotion to Level II. Co-Requisite: ED 102.
