Accelerated & Online Programs
Mount Mercy is a leading choice for students seeking a baccalaureate degree while maintaining full-time employment. Our accelerated programs are tailored to meet the needs of the non-traditional student who is seeking to apply current and/or past work experience to their educational environment.
Recognizing that life experience is a valid source of knowledge, and the premise that adults are self-directed and intrinsically motivated, courses are formatted into five, ten and fifteen week block periods allowing student to focus on one class at a time. Students can select from on campus classes that meet one or two nights per week for three to four hours and online courses that do not require face-to-face meetings and are delivered entirely through the online learning platform. Students are not limited to one delivery format.
